STEP 1: CLEANSE AWAY IMPURITIES
Gentle cleansing morning and night is key to restore and maintain the skin. Oil breeds bacteria, and bacteria leads to breakouts. Cleansing will remove the excess oil while keeping the natural skin balance.
- Gently massage your cleanser in with your fingertips. Remove with a face sponge and rinse with water.
- Reach for: NIVEA Perfect & Matte Effect Oil Control Face Wash which deeply cleanses your skin and controls oil and shine, without drying it out. The advanced formula contains Mattifying Complex with Natural Lemon Extract and Vitamin C.
STEP 2: TONE
- Toner is designed to remove any excess residue left behind after you cleanse. This means toner isn’t always necessary, but a good toner reduces the visibility of pores and prepares skin to absorb moisturiser. Apply toner to a cottonwool ball and wipe over face and decolletage.
- Reach for: NIVEA Daily Essentials Shine Control Toner reduces shine and gives the skin a beautiful matte complexion. Enriched with natural Ocean Algae and Hydra IQ the skin is deeply toned and mattified giving you a matte, healthy looking skin.
STEP 3: MOISTURISE
- Apply a moisturiser which is formulated to reduce oily build up and control blemishes. The right moisturiser adds moisture, not shine, and will reinforce your skin’s natural barrier. A moisturiser with SPF is always a good option, or apply an SPF 30 or more, which is formulated specifically for oily skin types, after your moisturiser.

TOP TIP
Exfoliating once a week removes excess skin cells that have built up in your pores over the week. This will help prevent acne breakouts and clogged pores. Be wary not to exfoliate too much and don’t use a harsh exfoliator – over-exfoliation can cause more harm than good.
